Description :

Baclofen tablets are helpful in treating pain and certain types of spasticity (muscle stiffness and tightness) from multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, or other spinal cord diseases. It belongs to the class of medications called relaxants, which increases the effects of certain chemical messengers (such as GABA) in the spinal cord that induces muscle relaxation. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, hypertension, or any problems with your lung, liver, kidney, or heart. The medication acts on the spinal cord nerves and decreases the number and severity of muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis or spinal cord conditions.
